Hotel Sea Uttara

We booked three rooms for four days and were happy with the stay. The rooms were roomy, clean, and kept that way with daily cleaning. The staff provided nice service, and prices were very affordable. It's also quite close to the beach. I'd gladly give the hotel five stars.

I was charged half a day's rent when I handed the room over, even though I'd told reception I planned to leave at 12:00 and did so on time. I came back around 12:20 after handing it to housekeeping, and the receptionist still took the money after I explained. I had also raised other concerns, including that the landline wasn't working because of repairs. I don't know if the money reached the owner, since I wasn't given a receipt.

We spent three nights here and had a good experience. The staff were pleasant, and room service came every day. The room was spacious and clean. I especially liked that early check-in was possible, depending on availability. The beach and restaurants are both nearby, and I'd happily stay here again.

The rooms were spacious, and I liked the interior, the vibe, and how friendly everyone was. The buffet breakfast was really nice, too. Dinner was the letdown: I ordered it from them and it was so bad. For a half-day extension they charged half the usual amount, though I felt they could have offered us a discount since we'd already stayed two days. It was my first visit to cox’s bazar, and I picked this place because kolatoli beach is only about a two-minute walk away. I could even see a little of the beach from my balcony.
