Green Nature Resort & Suites

The calm atmosphere was one of the best parts of my stay at Green Nature Resort & Suites, Cox’s Bazar. It felt refreshing as soon as I arrived. Staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable, spacious, and clean. The whole resort was nicely maintained. A pleasant place to unwind in Cox’s Bazar, and I’d recommend it.

The rooms and reception service were the main disappointments. The couple bed is very small, and the reception staff were very bad and overly commercial. My seven-year-old daughter was charged 1000 taka for breakfast, which I found completely excessive. When my child accidentally broke a glass, they charged 300 taka. I don’t think a glass should cost more than 80 to 100 taka. It feels like they’ve added a crockery business to the hotel business. Even though everything else in the hotel is good, I think this place should definitely be avoided among the hotels in Cox's Bazar.

The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, and that was my first impression when I visited Green Nature Resort in Cox’s Bazar. But the reception staff’s response left a bad impression. I had an emergency online exam and asked to check out at 12:20 PM, just 20 minutes late. They refused, so I had to continue my exam in the restaurant. The staff seemed to show no accountability for guest satisfaction and acted like the "Malik Pokkho" (owners) instead of service providers. In hospitality, that kind of rigidity can be a catastrophe for the brand. A lovely location means little if guests aren’t valued. I hope management takes this seriously.

The front desk woman was the worst of the staff, though a few were okay. The airport pickup driver was another problem. Pickup was late, and the number they gave me couldn’t be reached. Instead of owning that, they shamelessly tried to blame me. The front desk felt totally unprofessional and self-entitled, not suited to service. It was a relief that the woman wasn’t there at checkout, which gave a comparatively better last impression. Otherwise I would’ve given one star. Don’t rent a car recommended by any of them. This hotel is overrated, and I should’ve read the Google Maps reviews carefully before booking. So many people have been harassed at checkout for extra money!
