Hotel Regal Palace

Hotel Regal Palace is a good choice for couples and families, in my view. Shops next door stay open until 4:00 am, and Star kabab is inside the restaurant. The area felt safe, and Sugondha beach is within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. To avoid getting scammed, I’d steer clear of cheaper hotels in cox's bazar.

Room problems could take nearly a whole day to sort out, and it wasn’t clear who was meant to handle them. The managers I dealt with were unhelpful and seemed to treat guest concerns like a nuisance. The stay felt disorganized from check-in. Basic requests went unanswered, staff communication seemed muddled, and problems I raised brought explanations instead of solutions. I’m usually tolerant of travel hassles, but the management made this one much harder than it needed to be. The property may have potential, but it needs stronger leadership, better staff coordination, and a more serious approach to service before I could recommend it.

The location is good, but the service was horrible. Our bed sheets and pillow covers were stained, the old-fashioned room felt neglected, and the washroom commode wasn’t clean. There was no toilet tissue either. During rojas, they didn’t provide the complimentary breakfast even though we’d paid the full price, which included it. A horrible stay, and I won’t recommend this hotel.

Room issues took hours to address, sometimes a full day, and staff seemed unsure who was responsible. The managers I spoke to were dismissive and acted as though guests were a bother. From check-in, the place felt like nobody was in charge. My requests were ignored, communication was poor, and I got excuses instead of fixes. I try to be understanding when I travel, but the management made the stay far more stressful than it needed to be. The hotel might have potential, but the leadership needs to take organization and customer service seriously. I can’t recommend staying here until they do.
