We were charged for water, even though it’s complimentary at most hotels. During checkout, we also had to wait another 30 minutes because of extra charges. Check-in was just as frustrating. Our original room had an electricity problem that should have been dealt with before we arrived, and we waited an hour because of it. The service felt completely unprofessional. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If you’re staying in Uttara, it may be better to check places like Emerald.

The staff were polite and always willing to help, and breakfast had a good variety. I spent three nights here on a business trip and was really impressed. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again.🥰

When cracks started appearing in our home’s floor tiles at the start of 2026, we had to move out for three nights. Marco Polo hotel gave us a cozy little room, and its friendly staff and service made up for what it lacked in amenities. The location and price were also top notch. I hope they have great success in the days ahead. Keep up the good work!

Everything gets billed here, including extra water, while many hotels provide it for free. We lost an hour checking in because there was a problem with our room, then another 30 minutes at checkout. Other hotels nearby have upgraded or reimbursed guests for waits like that. Emerald upgraded our room after a 30-minute delay over room issues, but here they still charged 1k for an extra person. The service was horrendous. Avoid this place.

Check the minibar carefully if you stay here. We were charged for items my guests hadn’t even opened. I told the front desk several times that they were untouched, but they wouldn’t remove the charge. Having to pay hidden fees for things we didn’t use ruined the whole stay and felt incredibly unethical. Take a photo of the minibar before leaving, or choose somewhere honest.
