I only chose this hotel because it was near the function I was attending, despite having heard negative reviews. Booking a deluxe room was already frustrating: the woman quoted 5000 tk, took that amount and gave me a room card, but later said no deluxe room was available and asked for another 500 tk. She called the room a better one, though the TV was broken and they had to swap in one from an empty neighboring room. I've stayed in a 1200 tk guest room in khagrachori that was cleaner, better furnished, and more worth the price. The buffet breakfast was decent. Dinner was mostly overpriced rice or khichuri with chicken or mutton, and a 15 tk Coke was charged at 40 tk. I also couldn't expect anyone to answer when I called reception. The management felt unprofessional throughout.

I've stayed here more than three times on business trips, and it's a quiet hotel with good rooms. There's no bathtub, and cleanliness, service, and staff behavior could improve. Some employees were rude, while others were extremely good.

The toilet geyser wasn't working, so I had to move to another room to shower. The rooms were dirty, with cleanliness rated 5/10 and the rooms 6/10. Service was 9/10, especially Mr Helal from Marketing, who was trying his best to convince me. Room service got 9/10, and restaurant service 10/10.
