8/10
The staff were polite, helpful, and quick to respond, and the basic facilities were managed well. I found SKS INN clean, quiet, and safe, with a comfortable, well-kept room that worked well for a short official or personal visit. I stayed from 26 to 27 January 2026, and my experience was satisfactory. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, though, which could be a problem if you need it for work. It seems like a decent option in Gaibandha for a brief stay, training, or official visit.

The waiter was pleasant, and I liked the food and service. Getting there is the hard part: the location is very remote, with no transport available beyond a local bus, personal car, or rental car. The restaurant is small, and it was unpleasant to see outside guests allowed to use the pool and restaurant. The bedsheet also wasn't very clean.

The kids have enjoyed the play area and open spaces, and our family has been taking in the peaceful lake view. SKS Inn Resort is well maintained, with lush greenery and a calm, organized atmosphere that makes for a nice break from the city. The staff are attentive and polite, the rooms are clean and well furnished, and the restaurant serves good food. It's been a fantastic stay so far. I'd give it 4/5, and it seems a solid place to stay when visiting Gaibandha or traveling through North Bengal.

I found SKS Inn in Gaibandha a lovely quiet place to relax. There are green gardens and a nice pool, and the clean rooms and tasty food at the restaurant made the stay enjoyable.

The way they handle the rules is frustrating: you're told one thing at the entrance, then the story changes once you're inside. Management seemed almost absent, and the staff were unprofessional and unwilling to cooperate. This is easily the worst resort in North Bengal.
