The food was OK, but for the price it didn't feel worth it, and the buffet was missing items. Since the resort has only recently opened, staff processes still need a lot of work. The men's WC door locks don't work properly, and one handle was fitted the wrong way. It's fine for local middle-class people. I haven't tried staying overnight, but the rooms look spacious and should be OK. Best of luck building the business and your brand's reputation.

The staff were friendly and helpful, so I hope the place improves its facilities soon or cuts the price significantly. As it is, calling it a resort and charging premium rates without even a swimming pool is disappointing. Breakfast was almost nonexistent, with just bread, eggs, and a few other things. It looks worse beside Grand Sylhet, which is far superior in every respect while charging almost the same rates.

Founded by a passionate expatriate investor, this hotel is just getting started. The owner and team are working to provide service with the highest professionalism. It's visually stunning and seems to have virtually all modern amenities. A welcome addition that should make a significant contribution to Sylhet's tourism industry.

The rooftop restaurant at Windsor Hotel Sylhet was a terrible dinner experience. Bugs were all over the seats, tables, plates, and glasses. We tried moving to a darker corner and turning off the lights, but that didn't help, so we had to wash our own cutlery before eating. We waited over an hour for the food and kept being told it was “almost done.” When it finally arrived, it was the worst meal we've had in Sylhet. The tandoori chicken was undercooked and bloody. The butter chicken tasted like basic homemade curry, and the dal makhani was watery, bland, and nothing like proper dal makhani. We couldn't eat more than one spoonful. One of us even got sick afterward. The hotel looks nice from outside, but the quality and management were shockingly poor. We later learned the owner doesn't even live here, which may explain the lack of maintenance and oversight. A horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it.
