I enjoyed my stay, and the little inconveniences didn't bother me, but they're worth knowing about beforehand. There’s no elevator, which makes sense in an old building, and reception isn't open around the clock. If you arrive outside reception hours, the check-in details come by email and the process is simple. Towels, locks and hairdryers are available for a deposit, which you get back when you return them. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly, though the corridor carpets look old and dirty even though they're vacuumed often. The rooms are clean and the heating works well. Free breakfast includes cakes, fruit, coffee and tea, which was great for me since I love cake. If that's not your thing, you can buy food and put it in the shared fridge. There's no shared kitchen, but there's a common microwave and hot water available 24/7, so people often have bread, ham, cheese or instant soup.
