We left after just one night of a two-night booking because the stay was so uncomfortable. The room was below 20°C and freezing; the only suggestion was a small bathroom heater that did very little. The table wobbled too. The wellness area, which was one of the reasons we booked, was closed, and the main entrance was locked at 10 p.m., leaving us unable to go out. A leaf blower ran directly under our room for quite a while and disturbed our rest. Breakfast was poor, with cheese and ham that seemed old, and bad coffee. The owners weren't there, so we couldn't give feedback in person. A very bad experience. Never again.

We stayed in a superior room with a terrace and a view over the city. The small hotel is in an old villa with Art Deco features, and parking is available. It's about a ten-minute walk into town, with a rather steep climb back. Breakfast was a letdown: the trays stayed empty even after we asked for them to be refilled. The gravel outside, steep stairs, and tight bathrooms also mean it's not wheelchair compatible.

The hotel has a nice style and a good location, and it could be good with a bit more effort. Our room wasn't clean, with lots of dust and cobwebs. Half the lamps, the fridge, and the TV didn't work, all of which should be easy to fix.

We had the set-menu lunch and the food was excellent for a reasonable price. The terrace has amazing views of the castle. It did take a while for the food to arrive, but I'd still highly recommend it.

Grand and chique, with prices to match the high-class image, but the food was average and the portions so small I left hungry. The wine list was extensive, and the bottle we chose was very nice. The lady's dog was sweet, but not suited to a restaurant since its hair covered our clothes. Chique, with an average twist.
