Lore and Kurt and their family made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our three nights in May and would happily recommend staying here. Our top floor room was bright, comfortable, and huge, with an open layout, a large bathroom, good clothes storage, a king or queen sized bed, and a single bed for our son. Breakfast was superb, served outdoors in a converted barn open at the front, in their beautiful garden. The property sits in a pretty village, with easy parking in the public car park right outside. The station is a 10 minute walk away, and the train to Bruges takes 10 minutes. A return ticket cost 5 euros, and our son travelled free because he was under 12.

Lore is so caring and welcoming that the place feels cozy as well as beautiful, and it's just right for relaxing. The village is lovely and centrally located. You can rent e-bikes there and reach the coast, Bruges, or the Netherlands in about half an hour.

The only thing that bothered us a little was how warm the attic room became in nice weather. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay. The garden and the outdoor breakfast and lounge space are especially lovely, and Lore is a welcoming host with useful tips about the area.

We stayed with our two young children and felt completely welcome. The hostess had thought of all sorts of practical things, including changing mats, children's plates and cups, and a travel crib. There are also plenty of things for little ones to use, like a trampoline, an outdoor kitchen, and a chalkboard. The location is fantastic, with lots to do nearby. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and breakfast was fantastic, with delicious homemade products. We'd recommend a stay here to everyone. You won't regret it.
