Getting into Brugge was easy, with frequent bus rides to the city and market square. Arrival was straightforward too, using the barrier code and pitch allocation sent ahead of time. The pitches are a little small, but there’s enough space. The site is pretty, with floral displays and a cute camping area. The owners or managers were helpful, and the nightly fee included good WiFi. The toilets and showers were excellent and very clean. Our only problem was the electricity allowance. Six amps is normal around Europe and wasn’t an issue, but the limit of just 5 kW per day was difficult. The manager sorted it out for us while we were there. We had a great visit and will definitely return.

Booking ahead makes sense because it gets fairly busy. Check in and out are easy to do yourself, with the automatic entry gate. The mains power is sophisticated, though limited to 6A. The shower block and WiFi were top class, and it’s a nice campsite about 10 minutes by bike from central Bruges.

The location is hard to beat if you’re visiting Bruges, and the site offers good value. It’s very well placed for getting into the city. The pitches are a bit small, and the toilets and showers are fine, if a little tired.

It’s been 15 years since our last visit, and a lot has been modernised. We loved it and would gladly come back for a third time. Booking and reception were easy, and it’s ideally located for Brugge. The campsite is super new and clean, with flat pitches, electricity and water nearby. The central shower block has toilet paper and great hot showers throughout the day. Awesome campsite.

It’s a well organised, tidy site with plenty of shower and toilet cubicles, all very clean. We also used the laundry, which cost €5; we didn’t use the tumble dryer. There’s a bar and restaurant about a five minute walk down the road on the right. The centre of Brugge is around 35 minutes away on foot, and there’s a bus stop a nine minute walk from the site. If you’re heading back by taxi, watch out for the canal bridge. Waiting for it to open can add to the meter fare. A good site in a good location.
