The location is a real plus, right in the heart of Bruges and close to the Markt. The rooms were clean and nice, the service was good, and the prices were great. Staff were helpful and friendly, and there’s a handy self-service Starbucks and mini shop by reception. One thing to know: several air conditioning units sit right beside the window and run all night, even in winter. If you’re a light sleeper, they could be annoying.

We had such a good time that we’ve already booked the same room for the Christmas markets. Bruges was incredible, and Martins made a great base, with everything unbelievably close by. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful, and the whole week was the best. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The bar turned out to be a real highlight, especially for a hotel bar. The bartender was so sweet, and later in the evening it became a fun place to spend time. Our room was really nice for the price, and the location was perfect. If you can, ask for a room in the 800s, as those seemed noticeably better. The lobby convenience store was a nice extra. I’d say ignore the negative reviews and stay here.

We had a clean, cozy room with a lovely view of the clock tower, and it was peaceful hearing it. The staff were very friendly, and check-in was easy. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right next to the central square.

The staff were friendly, knew the area well, and were always ready with directions or recommendations. Martin’s Brugge Hotel was perfectly placed in the middle of the city, just a short walk from the Christmas Market and many of Bruges’ historic sights. It was a great base for enjoying the city’s charm and history, and I’d happily stay again.
