A big thank you to the lovely Lud for taking such good care of us throughout our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed, and Lud would make sure we got anything else we needed too. It’s in a great area, about a 30-minute walk from Bruges centre. The nearby town is a hidden gem, with really good restaurants and a bakery. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

We stayed recently in the duplex suite at Le Porte-Bonheur. Lind was a lovely host who took the time to explain the room and its amenities, and looked after us whenever we needed anything, even though we skipped breakfast. The room was spotless, with a great shower, a large comfy bed, and tea and coffee facilities. The location suited us well: a 15-minute walk from the main station, with free travel into the city, or six minutes on foot to a local bus stop. It’s easy to reach by car, with free safe street parking or a space on the drive. This was the last stop on our six-country tour of central Europe, and by far our best stay. Thank you, Lind. I’d gladly return or recommend it to friends and family.

Lind made us feel completely at home during our stay. She was so friendly and helpful, and the homemade juices she prepares every day were amazing. We loved it here and would happily recommend it.

We only stayed two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer. The place was clean, comfortable and pleasant, and the breakfast and surroundings were great. The host and her son were lovely and friendly, and chatted with us a bit, which felt like being with family. On our last day we couldn't get a taxi, so the host kindly drove us to the train station without us even asking. It’s the best B&B I’ve stayed in, and I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Bruges.
