Art de Séjour

Mario made our anniversary trip to Brussels wonderful. The location is great, and he gave us lots of recommendations. After a night out at delirium, my husband woke up with a bad hangover, and I worried we’d lose the day. Mario served a hearty, fresh breakfast with juice, and we both felt great after every meal. The room was spacious, spotless, bright, and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The bed was soft and plush, the towels smelled lovely, and the bathroom had great L’occitane products. I also loved having no carpet. I wish Mario had a business in every country we visited!

Our top-floor room at Art de Séjour was modern, thoughtfully laid out, and beautifully presented. The host made us feel welcome and shared a map and ideas for things to do in Brussels. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. The location is convenient for the main sights in the city centre, roughly halfway between Brussels Central and Brussels Midi stations. We had a fantastic stay.

The only downside was having to leave. We had a fabulous dinner at one of Mario’s recommendations, and the breakfast made to order each morning was a lovely start to the day. The rooms are spacious, updated, and comfortable, with a mini fridge and coffee maker in each. The showers were wonderfully hot with great water pressure. Mario communicated well before we arrived. Since we got there early, we checked in, got a map and recommendations, and left our luggage. The elevator wasn’t working then, so Mario carried our bags up to our rooms on the top two floors. It was back in service before we left. This beautiful bed and breakfast is close to Grand Place, and we’d love to stay again. Highly recommended.

Mario was a wonderful host who went out of his way to meet our needs and tell us about nearby attractions. His breakfasts were a highlight. We loved the spacious, beautifully presented room and the quiet location, within walking distance of all the major sights. We couldn’t rate our stay at Art de Séjour more highly.
