Sara was a friendly, helpful host and even stayed up late to check me in. My room was very spacious, with a lovely bathroom and shower room, and there was a separate kitchenette with freshly ground coffee and fruit available all the time. The City Centre was easy to reach on foot. I spent two lovely days at EU B&B, a nice change from a typical hotel, and at a fraction of the price.

We’ve stayed here on several trips in one of the small downstairs rooms. It’s small compared with American Airbnb or hotel rooms, but about what you’d expect by European standards. The blackout shades and very comfortable bed made for great sleep, and everything was perfectly clean. The location is fantastic, there’s a little garden and a shared kitchen, and the coffee was great. Our hosts were so nice.

We had a beautiful weekend here. The guesthouse is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood with good access to central Brussels. Sara was very accommodating when we arrived early: the previous guests had left, the room was ready, and she let us check in ahead of time. It was spacious, clean, and had a super comfortable bed. Having a kitchen to make breakfast was perfect. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels.

We were very happy with our stay in this quiet, clean private suite at the back of a residential home. The water heater and heating worked great, and we appreciated having a small refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishes, so we could eat in if we wanted. The host has a bar and restaurant nearby with great food.

The owner was easy to communicate with, and there are shops, bars, and a bus stop close by. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the shared kitchen had a coffee machine, microwave, and fridge. Still, after three nights at EU B&B, I wished I’d booked a hotel. I’d found it on booking.com using the free cancellation filter, though hotel rooms seemed to be available for a similar price. I was first put in an upgraded studio in the building’s back yard. It looked nice at first, but there was a strong mold smell, and I found mold in both the bathroom and room. It was only 14 C when I arrived. The heating warmed it quickly once I turned it on, but the cold and damp seemed like ideal conditions for mold. I also had trouble with the lock: once I couldn’t lock the room from outside, and another time I couldn’t open the door. That’s a rough thing to deal with after traveling since early morning when all you want is to relax. I asked to move and was given a downstairs room by the entrance. No mold there, but it was cold too, and took several more hours to warm up. I shivered through the first evening and night. Whenever someone walked upstairs, the whole ceiling squeaked loudly. I could hear noises all through the house, especially people slamming the main door and running on the stairs. On Friday night there was some kind of celebration, with men singing until about midnight. It was Good Friday, which could offend some Christians. The location is just OK depending on what you need. The bus stop is about 100 m away, while walking to the central train station takes around 25 minutes.
