Holidays Hostel Midi

Stay away from this hostel. After spending the day out, I came back and found someone asleep in my bed, using my coat as a pillow. Everything about the place felt wrong to me. It's the worst place I've ever stayed, and it should be closed.

It's right in the city center, which is good, and the hostel itself is decent. Still, sometimes there's an unpleasant smell when I step out of the lift on my way to my room.

There are no room lockers unless you buy one at reception for 3€, and there are no towels. The bedrooms and bathroom were extremely dirty. Some people seemed to live there all the time and act as if they owned the room. The area felt dangerous, with lots of drunk men and awfully dirty streets. It is an African territory. The hostel is near the train station and about a 20-minute walk from the city centre, but I wouldn't recommend a girl or group of girls walk there at night or in the evening. You won't feel safe. It's cheap, but has a lot of drawbacks, so think twice before staying.

I had to leave at 4am with nowhere to go because someone was sleeping in the bed that was supposed to be mine. They took my money and gave me no service. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the contact phone number was fake. Next time I'm in Brussels, I'll report it to the police.
