The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the central location made exploring easy. I arrived early and could leave my luggage there before going sightseeing. Check-in was self-service and simple, and the place felt secure and was spotless. The one awkward part was the thin walls. I could hear people next door pretty clearly at times, if you know what I mean. Still, I had a fantastic stay at Numa Lief and couldn't have asked for much better.

Check-in and checkout were quick and painless, and there was hardly any effort involved in staying here despite the small on-site staff presence. The rooms were nice by European standards and really clean. They also came with some great extras: plenty of decent coffee, bottled water, and two good beers in the fridge, all included. We'll keep an eye out for this hotel brand when we travel.

Getting into Numa in Brussels was easy and flexible thanks to the digital check-in. I liked the modern, no-fuss way they handle things. It made for a really comfortable stay, and I'd gladly come back.

Our room on the fourth floor was spacious and had a safe, coffee machine and pods, tea, chocolate, and bottled water. The individual soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were a nice touch. We also appreciated the free gym, laundromat, and microwave in the basement at level -2, especially for a longer visit. The location worked very well for exploring. Anneessens metro station is a three-minute walk, and the centre, shops, attractions, and Manneken Pis are around ten minutes away on foot. The pin-code system for the entrance, lift, and room made us feel very secure. Communication before arriving was clear, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. A couple of things could be better: one complimentary water bottle had been used, the fridge didn't work even though its light came on and we tried the temperature dial, and the small bin had an awkward lid. We sometimes heard late-night conversations and plumbing, but it didn't affect our sleep. A comfortable, handy Brussels base with a few minor snags.
