The hotel is lovely, with a beautiful lobby, bar, and rooms, and the staff are friendly. But be careful with the minibar: it's automatic, so moving anything can trigger a charge. You can even be charged for trying to use the room fridge. They explained that an outside company runs the minibar. If you need ice, the bar staff are happy to get it for you, though there's no ice near the rooms despite the old signs.

The hotel's best feature is its location. You can walk to everything, and Wolf market is right across the street. We visited at Christmas, and the tree in the entrance made things feel festive. For the price, though, the stay disappointed. Cleanliness could have been better, and the minibar was extremely expensive. They were stingy with tea and coffee, and although we asked for enough toothbrushes for our family of four, we didn't get them. There was mold around the bath, and the shower attachment felt flimsy, like it might break. Staff also gave us conflicting information about the "complimentary late check-out".

We've stayed at the Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels several times and have had consistently good experiences. On our latest visit, we got an upgrade to a spacious, comfortable, very clean Junior Suite, and the service was attentive. It's easy to explore Brussels from here, with the main sights within walking distance. Parking is convenient for the city centre, and breakfast has a good selection. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, so light sleepers may prefer the noticeably quieter atrium-facing rooms. It's a dependable, well-located hotel we'd be happy to return to.

The rooms are modern and clean, though smaller and less comfortable than I expected. Staff weren't very friendly, and at this price I expected at least a small welcome treat, but there wasn't one. Even a few minibar snacks cost a lot. Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels is in a fantastic spot close to Grand Place and other tourist areas. It's a decent choice if location and cleanliness are what matter most, but the service and value didn't meet my expectations. Anyone looking for higher standards might be disappointed.

The hotel has a stylish, inviting design, and being so close to the central station makes getting around very convenient. Still, the small details need a lot more attention. Improving those would bring the experience closer to the high standard the hotel seems to aim for.
