Sweet Inn Apartments Régence

The apartment itself is what brought my rating down. The street noise was awful, with vans going between the prison and courthouse clattering over cobblestones, and the windows did nothing to keep it out. It was like being in an American TV show. Brussels is very well located for getting out and doing lots of things, though.

We spent four days without hot water because the boiler broke on day one, and nobody ever showed up to fix it despite saying they would. They offered a tiny refund for the repair, but haven't followed through. Maintenance was really poor, and it spoiled my and my family's stay in Amsterdam. I've never had anything like this happen on my travels. Since they didn't fix it, I wouldn't recommend this apartment.

We rented two apartments, and both were poorly maintained and not very clean. In one of them, the boiler broke, so we had to take cold showers for three days while it remained unrepaired. The garbage bins at the entrance smelled awful too. We can't recommend Sweet Inn.
