The room was cozy and clean, and we got just what we were after. The owner was friendly and accommodating. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach and promenade, but the hotel sits on a quiet side street away from the noise of the center. It's no luxury hotel, but with the beach right there, who needs that?

Our family room was spacious enough, well arranged, and comfortable, though the bathroom was very small. The staff were very friendly, and the simple breakfast was good. It's a lovely hotel in a great spot in De Panne, and it exceeded what we expected from a two-star place. They also immediately agreed to our request to check in after 18h, which made our travel plans easier. Much appreciated.

De Panne is a lovely spot on Belgium's North Coast, with a huge sandy beach, lots of bars and cafes, and plenty of nice shops to browse. It feels a bit like Bournemouth. At low tide, the sea is about a hundred yards away, so keep that in mind. The promenade is pricey, while things in town are cheaper. The place is clean and friendly, and there are lots of dog owners around. A little holiday French gets you by, though locals speak Flemish. ATMs are less common than here, and most places only take Euros, so come prepared. Give it a go!

Service was great, but the bed was old and so was the room ventilation. We stayed for one night.

It's a nice hotel, but there's no elevator, so I had to carry my baby's stroller up to the room.
