The pool and hottub looked brand new and pristine, and both times we went, nobody else was there. We had a lovely stay for our six-month anniversary, and they’d decorated the bed with flower petals 🥰. Breakfast was very nice, though pricey at 23 euros per person. We also booked dinner at the restaurant, which was very high quality. The food was very good, and they brought free bread as a starter and refilled it.
The bathroom needs some work: it felt dated, the shower pressure was low, the temperature knob kept falling off, and sometimes the toilet water wouldn’t stop running. The electronic door lock also often took several tries to open. Our balcony room was cold in freezing winter weather until we put the heating on. At night, warmer blankets would’ve been nicer than the airco noise. On the plus side, the bedroom was spacious, the balcony was great, and airco heating worked well. There’s plenty of free parking, including EV charging stations, plus a varied on-site restaurant, excellent breakfast, and a free indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Beautiful views, hiking nearby, a great location, and friendly, helpful staff.
The room was fine, with nice views and a modern bathroom, and the staff were really nice. I loved the location and gardens inside. Don’t expect a highway to get there. Drive carefully, preferably in daylight. The road is better from Dinant.
A great escape for New Year's Eve if you want to be in nature, away from big cities. There were no fireworks or anything, which was perfect for staying in with our cat who’s scared of noise. Friendly staff, a clean room, and plenty of parking too.
The location is good and the rooms are clean. The restaurant could do better, the food doesn’t justify the price.
