Jan gave us some really useful inside tips for our Bruges tour. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and there’s a small patio where you can sit outside in the sun. We really enjoyed Lieve and Jan’s hospitality. Breakfast was very nice and delicious, with fresh bread every day and homemade jam or juice. The location is perfect for a weekend away or a few days off. It’s a 15-minute drive to either the sea or Bruges, and you can also take the bus into the city.

The bus stop is very close, and the bus takes you straight to Bruges. We loved the clean, comfortable room and large bathroom, as well as the generous breakfast and the owners’ great tips for touring the area.

We would have missed a lot of good museums if the staff hadn’t told us about them. They sorted everything out for us and suggested places to visit. The hospitality when we arrived was so good, and breakfast was just too good. Usually a hotel is only somewhere you eat and sleep during a trip, but this one became part of the trip itself.
