Full House Hotel

Breakfast was included, the food was good, there were lots of options, and the hostess looked after us very well. The rest of the stay left me feeling disgusted. The room was badly dated and hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was so hot when we got back late in the evening that it felt like 30 degrees, and the small tower fan barely helped. The toilet was awkwardly placed by the sink, so I couldn’t sit properly. The shower looked partly broken and possibly moldy, and there were two hairs on the wall from the previous guest. I found another hair on my pillow, and an ant trap under the bed when I checked for anything I might have left behind. There was no one to welcome us when we arrived, but that wasn’t a big problem. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping here. It wasn’t worth the money.

It has a lovely Belgian style and is very clean. Breakfast is amazing, and the owner is friendly and helpful. There’s no lift, so be careful with a heavy suitcase if your room is on the third floor. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good up there either.

I’m torn between 3.5 and 4 stars. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was fabulous. It’s a gorgeous old place, but more care with the grout in the bathroom would have improved my score. We also got a scare when a mirror fell off the wall. Thankfully nobody was near it and nothing broke, but the noise and watching it fall had our hearts pounding.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and breakfast was on the level of a 5star hotel. We were there with a group of friends and enjoyed every day of our stay. We’ll come back in the future.
