ibis budget Leuven Centrum

We mostly needed somewhere to sleep and get ready during a short work trip, and the compact rooms worked for that. They were clean, with comfortable enough beds, working showers, and a generally quiet atmosphere after long days. There wasn't much room to spend time in, and the hotel felt a little worn, with minimal amenities, but nothing got in the way of our stay. Check-in was easy and the staff we met were polite and efficient. Being near the train station made getting around quickly convenient with our tight schedule. For an affordable, no-frills visit, it met our basic needs.

The rooms are so small, and they don't function well. At this price, Ibis could do more to make the space work. Hotels with small rooms in Japan handle this kind of thing better, so Ibis should take a few notes. I only booked here because the strike in Belgium had filled all the other hotels. As a last place to sleep before catching the train, I suppose it would be acceptable if the price were cut in half.

For a budget hotel, this is amazing. A bit dusty, but the beds and pillows are comfortable, and there's a bathroom and a window. Perfect.

I stayed three nights. The room was clean and quiet, and with the window closed it was soundproof. The staff were helpful and ready to assist.
