The Cube hostel has a great vintage look, full of little details, while the rooms are modern and well equipped. It's cosy, comfortable, and has a nice atmosphere, plus a bar with lots of beers to try. The staff are the best, and breakfast is very good for the low price. Such a shame I lost almost all my photos of the place, because they would have shown how cool it is.

Easy to find, and the city is beautiful. The hostel itself is clean, good value, and has modern features like rain showers, glass bathroom doors, a games room, and Netflix. Check-in times aren't very flexible, though, and the room I was put in had girls drinking and making a lot of noise.

The staff were warm and helpful, and I had a wonderful stay. The hostel is clean, central, and quite hip. My only issue was check-in: I arrived a couple of hours early and had to wait outside until it opened. The hours could be more flexible.

The kitchen is pretty good, but it doesn't have basics like oil and salt, and the fridge isn't looked after. The lobby looks nice, though the bathrooms are moldy, and there's just one bathroom for rooms with 13 beds. On my last stay its ventilation was broken, the room got very steamy, and the bathroom was only cleaned every two days. When I reported pee all over the toilet, reception said guests were supposed to clean it themselves. That hardly explains leaving the only toilet for 13 people uncleaned for 48 hours. The internet often doesn't work, and at 25€ a night for a bunk, it's expensive. It's even cheaper to book through booking than at reception, which makes no sense. Reception is open only 10-12 and 15-21, so outside those hours you have to use the back door. The staff aren't very kind, and the place doesn't really have a hostel spirit. All in all, just a very strange place.

The common areas are nicely designed, the rooms have good quality equipment, and the bathroom is spacious. The bar at reception looks amazing. The main issue is its limited hours: reception doesn't open until 10, which was a problem because I had a train before then, and it closes at 21. The bar has such short hours too. What's the point of having such a good bar if it's open for so little time?
