The house was awful. The toilet is upstairs, mounted so high that your feet hang off the floor, and several bedroom doors above it don't close properly. The handle and extractor hood were broken, the electric hob looked dreadful, the Wi-Fi was poor, the garden tiny and there was no view. The host accused us of damaging the hot tub and kept our €200 deposit. She said we'd get it back only through travel insurance, but hasn't provided any evidence of damage. There isn't any damage, and I'm not making a claim for something that didn't happen. I suspect she's trying to claim money for alleged damage through insurance, but I have no proof of that either. In any case, I'm being given no photos or other proof, and I expect to lose the deposit. It's expensive, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. I'm in touch with a lawyer and have told my travel insurer that fraud may be involved. Consider this a warning: DO NOT BOOK HERE!

We've travelled widely and never had this kind of treatment. The house was in very poor condition, the hosts communicated badly, and getting our deposit back has been a problem. They also added fees we felt were unjustified. Worst value for money we've had in Belgium.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the house is beautiful. It's a lovely region with lots to do.

The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was Netflix. Heating was less successful: the pellet stove and ground-floor wood fireplace couldn't keep the upstairs rooms warm. Wi-Fi speed never got above 15 Mbps.
