After three years away, we're here for a second stay with our young kids, and we'd come back again. There's good water and other activities for children. The sea is a bit of a walk, about 15 minutes, but it's fine on foot or by bike.

The mobile homes were clean and good value, and the staff were lovely. There was no Wi-Fi unless you paid 6 euros a day. Since we visited out of season, the cafe, bar and shop were mostly unavailable, which was a pity.

The cabins were clean and nice, but the town has become so commercial that it's lost much of its charm. Customer service wasn't great. Nobody mentioned that we could order bread, so we ended up with two very dry buns in the morning. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it works well. Bring hand soap and toilet paper, since neither is provided. There's only a microwave, no oven for heating meals, and no dishwasher. Our dog is scared of loud popping sounds, and the nearby military base kept firing machine guns and other things. Driving to the beach felt much safer than walking, unless you want to cross two railways with no warning when a train is coming.

The kids had lots of activities to enjoy at this lovely caravan camping area. Staff were friendly and helpful, too.

I went on the last weekend of the season. The site was nice and quiet, a great place to unwind for the weekend.
