Elberg

The rooms and facilities were fine, and the kitchen and terrace were great. But beware of the parking spaces in front of the Hotel. They say they're available, yet we found our car in the Police parking lot in the morning. The hotel should warn guests. Locals might know, but tourists don't. There's a market every Tuesday, and cars get towed at 5am.

If you stay here on a weekend, don't count on getting much sleep. The hotel shares a plaster wall with the club next door, and the bass made our walls vibrate. We heard the noise in every one of our three rooms, on the first, second, and fourth floors, until 5am. When you pay for a hotel, you expect to be able to sleep.

There's plenty of free parking nearby, and check-in and checkout are quick with a code. Inside, it's a very nice hotel, with thoughtful extras like coffee, water, chocolate, and candy. Guests can use a shared kitchen and balcony. The downside is the noise from the nightclub next door.

It's a little tucked away, but the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and you're right in the center. There's secure parking just next door and a nice outdoor seating area.
