It wasn’t a good stay. I arrived to find nobody there, so I called the tenant and was told the standard arrival time was 17:00. But when I booked, I’d been told check-in was available from 15:00. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the bin was still full. There were no towels or dressing gown in the room. The lighting wasn’t adequate either, and I had to get out of bed to switch it off. Breakfast wasn’t included, so I don’t understand why it’s called a B@B. It costs an extra 20 euro per person, and you have to book it when you arrive or you won’t get breakfast.

We spent one night here through srprs.me. The location and room were fine, but the hospitality and breakfast need work. Half an hour after we arrived, the hostess came in for five minutes and shoved towels into our arms. We had to wait for breakfast every morning, and personally, 9:15 is far too late for breakfast. Our voucher for the B&B included breakfast, but now the hostess wants to send a bailiff after us because she says we owe her the breakfast again. Not recommended unless you want messages at 3 am, five days after your stay.

It’s a very quiet place, surrounded by forest and well located, with a friendly welcome and nice rooms. But once night falls, the lights are so dim that you can barely see what’s on your plate while cooking, and reading a book is impossible. The daylight isn’t a problem, but in winter it gets dark early. I hope they fix the lighting soon.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I booked a night through Hotels.com, then got a message from the manager saying the place was closed, even though she’d left the dates available on all the booking sites. She used that situation to avoid cancelling the reservation herself and STOLE our money for a night we never got to enjoy. Utterly dishonest!
