Alleezie

The location was the one good thing about our stay. I emailed the owner to ask whether the house had Wi-Fi and got a reply saying yes. There was no Wi-Fi. When I called from the property, he told me it wasn't there. The day before our family of nine was due to leave the UK, he called to say people had reported a smell in the house over the weekend and he would try to sort it before we arrived. He asked whether we wanted him to find somewhere else. When I asked if it would be in the centre of Ypres, where we'd booked Alleezie to stay, he said no, everything was full and it was almost impossible to keep all nine of us together. I said we'd stay. When we arrived the stink was so bad we could hardly bear to be inside. I checked the latest review and saw complaints about a disgusting smell from over a month earlier. Call me cynical, but I believe he calls everyone the day before and says he'll try to fix it. We also waited more than two weeks for the deposit refund. NOT HAPPY, and we won't stay there again.
