The Chamberlain

The beds were so comfortable, and having parking spaces was a real bonus. The house itself is beautiful and has EVERYTHING you need. Its location is wonderful too, just a few minutes from the Grote Markt, where there’s currently a Christmas market. In short, don’t hesitate!

We’ve already booked again for next year. Five couples spent New Year’s Eve at this unique, beautiful mansion, and everything was perfect down to the last detail. Bath and bed linen, heating, cleaning, and everything else were included. Deborah welcomed us so warmly and explained everything thoroughly. Many thanks to her.

Deborah, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful. The stylish townhouse is spacious, well kept, and has a well-equipped kitchen. The beds are excellent, and the fresh-smelling bed and bath linen were clean. It’s in a very good spot for exploring Ypres and the surrounding area. We stayed midweek with two families and children aged 11 to 19, who also had a wide range of activities to choose from.

We take a long weekend away with our neighbors every year, and this time we chose The Chamberlain in Ypres. It’s a beautiful holiday home in the centre, tastefully decorated, spotless, perfectly maintained, and ready to move into. Everything is there, from coffee pods and capsules to dish soap and kitchen towels, and the beds are made before you arrive. The hostess is super friendly and helpful. It’s a great base for up to 10 people to enjoy the city and region, though the house is so attractive that staying in and enjoying it is tempting too. Highly recommended, and the photos speak for themselves.
