The location is hard to beat, about a minute from the cloth hall, and the room was spacious, clean, tidy, and good value. The bathroom was huge, with a nice shower. There’s no reception, but the entry code sent before arrival worked well when our shuttle was delayed and we got in late. The rooms are minimal, though they had what we needed for a few days in Ypres. No room service means tea and coffee may run out after a few evenings, but otherwise I was very happy with the room.

Stayed over New Year and really liked it. A lovely place in Ypres, with modern, lovely rooms.

Manteka was a lovely surprise. There’s a good range of tempting things on the menu, and our food was flavorful, nicely presented, and clearly made with care. The warm, friendly service made us feel welcome right away. The modern interior is cozy and attractive, and the restaurant is easy to get to. We’d happily recommend it.

The owners really make an effort to help guests feel at home. This brand new spot is close to the city center and Menin Gate. A TOP place!
