The team-building itself was a great experience, but the hotel could have handled a few things much better. The room cleanliness was unacceptable. When we arrived, the bathroom had been left dirty by the previous guests, and the carpet was really dirty too. The main hotel room base is also dated and needs freshening up. I've seen similar comments going back years, and I don't see management addressing them. The staff were good in general, but I was disappointed by the bartenders' skills. If the hotel offers cocktails, staff should know how to make the basic ones. That's a management issue, not the bartenders' fault. We were also told there couldn't be two key cards per room because of our group size. We had to keep asking reception to come let us in, and this wasn't explained to everyone. People ended up waking their roommates to get inside. For a four-star hotel, not providing at least two cards per room is ridiculous and doesn't match the price we paid.

Our family had a fantastic time here. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, the food was tasty with plenty of variety, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The spacious, comfortable rooms and the pools and spa were great for adults and kids alike. A wonderful family holiday hotel, and we'd definitely return!

At €250 a night, this hotel really wasn't worth it for us, mostly because the service felt unfriendly and unprofessional. We wouldn't come back. The rooms are dated and need renovating. Breakfast was good, but that was the one bright spot. Most staff were rude and unhelpful, including at the spa. One gentleman at reception was polite and helpful, but the morning shift made us feel they were always trying to charge us extra. The adults-only spa area was very nice 🤩. Still, we came away feeling that tourists aren't really appreciated in Bansko and that the focus is constantly on getting more money.

I stopped at the lobby bar today hoping to have a coffee, but the gentleman at the entrance wouldn't let me in. He said only hotel guests could sit there and have coffee. I've never run into that kind of policy at a hotel that's supposed to be high-class. I didn't follow it up today because I was short on time, but next time I'll contact the authorities and ask for legal clarification about whether non-guests can sit in a hotel café.

The shuttle to the ski slopes was convenient and well organized, which made getting around easier. It's a good hotel and worth visiting, with a unique, well-kept spa that's great for relaxing after skiing. The food has lots of choices for different tastes, too.
