We had a great time overall and I'd recommend the place. The location was good, with a couple of nice restaurants nearby. The pool we used the next day was a little dirty, unfortunately. Staff friendliness was so-so, and in general they weren't very polite. When we arrived, a school children's party was going on. We sat outside at the restaurant, but nobody checked on us for over 30 minutes. I eventually found someone and asked what was happening, and was told the restaurant was closed because of the party. Maybe we were just unlucky.

The place felt creepy and like we'd gone back in time. It wasn't very clean, and the walls were so thin I could literally hear other guests washing in the bathtub. Horrible!

The central location made it easy to explore the city, and breakfast was included, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the amenities convenient. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay that I'd recommend.

We left 15 days early and moved to another hotel, the first time we'd ever had to do that during a stay, and we usually spend one or two months in each place. We had booked a Suite superior for 30 days because the photos had impressed us. The hotel looks good, as if it was built to four-star standards, but it is maintained like a two-star place, and nearly all the staff seemed more suited to a hostel. I can't comment on the SPA because we never went in. There's little near the hotel, such as restaurants or cafes, so you have to drive to reach other services. In my view, this hotel shouldn't have more than two stars. There were some good points in the room. It was quite big, looked nice, was decently decorated, clean, and had almost everything you'd need. The outdoor pool was nice and big, and there was also an indoor swimming pool, though it closed at 19:00, even in summer with 35-40°C outside. The room had a small kitchen, but no silverware, pots, or pans. I had to take silverware from the breakfast area. The terrace looked awful, was missing its sun roof, and was completely useless. The blinds didn't work and the curtains were see-through, so light always came in. The air conditioning was far too weak, leaving the room at least 27°C. When we asked reception to fix it, they gave us a cheap portable fan. Nobody came to fix the AC, even though the fifth-floor hallway was colder than our room. We needed laundry service during our month-long stay. On two separate occasions, our clothes came back not properly dry, dumped in a bag and not folded. The Wi-Fi was so weak it was useless for work, so we had to buy a SIM card for the mobile router we'd fortunately brought along. Breakfast was the saddest we'd seen in hundreds of hotels. It was set up in a corner of the “restaurant” behind loudspeakers and a mixer, probably left over from a birthday party years ago. The tablecloths had the same stains throughout our 15 days there, so they weren't being changed. The products were low quality and had no descriptions. Allergies? Who cares. In nearly all the shared areas, including the entrance, hall, cafeteria, and restaurant, the lights were off apart from what was strictly necessary, making the place feel even sadder and less welcoming. The first time we called room service, everything was fine. The second time, we called reception at least five times and nobody answered. We went downstairs and ordered by pointing at the menu because nobody would understand us. The guy said we had to come back for the dishes when they were ready, since he was alone and couldn't leave reception unattended. Why nobody picked up when we called remains a mystery. The food was mediocre and bland, though not too expensive. The “gym” was a couple of old machines in a room that was at least 30°C, so it was useless too. The hotel itself looks good, but the service and facilities fell short of what we expected.
