The hotel feels stuck in the Soviet era. The bathroom looked barely cleaned, with dirt and mold residue in the sink, and the elevators seemed poorly maintained, with several conflicting signs giving lower and lower weight limits. At breakfast, the staff weren’t keeping the buffet stocked. When we pointed out breakfast wasn’t over, items that would have taken 30+ minutes to bake appeared right away, so it felt like they were holding food back. The location is good, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The dinner buffet was awful, with shared tables and a bad smell. The hotel is low class and feels like time has stood still. Lots of things weren’t working, including the jacuzzi and lights in both the pool and hotel. Hygiene was below standard, with fungus, dampness and filthy bathrooms.

There are two buildings, indoor and outdoor mineral pools, a spa center, a good restaurant and plenty of recreational activities. The indoor pool has a slide that’s safe and fun for kids aged 6-14. This seems well suited to families and tourists who value quiet and comfort.

It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center, and there’s a garage for secure parking. This is a small boutique hotel, so it isn’t very busy and sometimes staff aren’t around. They left a WhatsApp number to reach them 24/7. The room interior felt fairly new, but breakfast was simple: buffet style, with limited amounts of things like eggs. Given the small scale, an à la carte breakfast made to order might be more economical and beneficial.

The spa is too small for the number of people using it, and the pools need more regular cleaning. The hotel used to be wonderful, but now it needs renovation: the rooms are worn out and need refreshing. It’s very large, so it’s not the place for a peaceful stay. It’s okay for a day or two.
