Right by the Kamchia Resort, there’s a long, peaceful beachside camping area. A great choice if you’re looking to get some peace away from the city.

It’s close to the beach, and that’s about all it has going for it. Honestly, this is the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. After six hours on the road, I had to buy cleaning supplies and spend about two hours cleaning just to have somewhere to sit. Hygiene isn’t a luxury. There were lots of cobwebs, sand and mold, and it looked like a black dog and a long-haired blonde woman had been there before us. This is why people go to Greece.

It’s calm and peaceful, and near the beach. The bungalows are old, though. Even after the renovation, they still feel like they’re from 1985.

A lovely, quiet place for a family with kids. The restaurants serve very good food, and the beach is just 100m from the bungalows.

The beach is nice, but there’s no lifeguard, so be careful. On our last day we had to drag a dead body out of the sea. The bungalows are miserable. They clearly haven’t been properly repaired or cleaned in 20 years, and they should definitely cost less. At least they’re in the forest, so it doesn’t get as hot. Watch out for mosquitoes.
