The hosts were welcoming, and the food was delicious. Such a nice place.

The communication around arrival was the main drawback. The owner and the person greeting guests are different people, and they don't seem to coordinate well. The neighbor who welcomes you wasn't especially responsive or friendly, so I'd call 3-4 hours ahead when booking to check that someone will be there, then call again later to make sure they've been told you're coming. The house itself is lovely, with a rustic feel and a fireplace downstairs. Once it's lit, the rooms get quite warm. It's also conveniently close to the village center.
