The beach is very close, and the place itself is in a pleasant, peaceful spot, with the main strip only a short walk away. We had a nice apartment for our week, booked through Airbnb, but it got very hot. There was just one AC unit in the living room, which made sleeping uncomfortable; being on the top floor probably didn't help, and I imagine the lower floors are cooler. The pool was clean and looked well cared for. The bar had limited stock, though it was early in the season. The restaurant was shut and appeared to be for sale, based on a local listing, so it probably won't open again anytime soon.

The rooms were cleaned often and the staff were friendly, but we didn't have enough blankets. The pillows were so poor that my neck really suffered, and the WiFi kept cutting out. I had to rely on mobile data for work involving large file transfers whenever I wasn't at the beach. For the price, it's about what you'd expect in Bulgaria.

The pool bar and restaurant have been closed for a long time, and I saw them listed for sale in a local real estate agent's window. The lifeguard barely seems to pay attention and applies the sunbed rules inconsistently. Cleaning for Airbnb rentals costs extra, and it wasn't thorough in my case, with thick dust left in many spots.

The beach is only a short walk away, and I had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and so was the pool.
