After a four-hour drive, we arrived at night to find the hotel shut, with the reception locked, no staff around, and no one answering the phone. At 22:05, we got a brief message saying they would close in 10 minutes, then they disappeared. We were left outside in an unfamiliar city and had to urgently find somewhere else to stay. One of us was sick with angina, which made the whole stressful situation even harder to bear. We were two families, four people in total, with a confirmed booking and full prepayment for two rooms. We’d told the hotel well ahead of time that we would arrive late, between 22:00 and 23:00, and even sent a reminder while we were on the way according to the navigator. Instead of proper service, they messaged us that check-in after 22:00 would cost extra. The next morning, we were shocked to hear that they’d canceled our reservation as a “no-show” and would offer only a 50% refund. This hotel is completely unreliable, dishonest, and disrespectful to guests. They take your money, disregard what was agreed, and leave you stranded outside at night. Do yourself a favor and never book here.

Fresh air and a lovely sea view from the balcony. The location is very good.

A nice family-run hotel, and we felt welcome from the moment Detelina, Galia and Tanq greeted us so warmly. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice. There’s free parking in front, and you can use the sauna too. A good place to stay in obzor. We’d recommend it, and thanks for looking after us! ❣️

The hotel staff were lovely and friendly, but the breakfast was disappointing. Every day while we were there, it was cheese toast. We were HB, and for our other meal we had to go to a restaurant in the center. There was a set menu to choose from, and they wouldn’t change it even when asked, so I skipped the starter. Apart from that it was okay. It’s not suitable for disabled guests, though, as there are steps to get in. Overall, not too bad.

Many thanks for the warm welcome and our stay at Hotel Jemieli. We’re grateful to the administrators Bouryana, Deshslava, and Rosica for keeping the hotel clean and treating us so pleasantly. We hope the team stays just as friendly and sincere with Hotel "Jemeli"’s guests. Regards, Zenovy and Oksana, Ukrain, Lviv. 20.07.2017
