Bright House

Whenever I come home to Plovdiv, I stay at Bright House. I grew up here, still have family and property in town, though I live abroad now. You’re right in Kapana, or “the Trap,” with its maze of one-way streets, trendy bars and bistros. A car isn’t needed, since it’s in the middle of everything and right at the entrance to the Old Town, the archaeological reserve with 8,000 years of history. Walk up the cobbled streets to the Greek amphitheater, have sangria and listen to “La donna e mobile” overlooking what’s described as Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited settlement. cheers! We had our baby with us, and the receptionist made sure all three of us had what we needed. They also reserved a parking spot right in front. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay, and the service was A-class. Best city hotel I’ve visited in Bulgaria. Just excellent!

The staff were attentive and friendly, and I appreciated how flexible they were about parking. Our apartment was bright, cozy and clean, with everything we needed. The location was about as perfect as it gets. A great stay, and I’d be happy to come back.

You’re right in the heart of Kapana, a short walk from the Ancient Stadium, and the price for these apartments was great. They were very clean and well looked after, and the area was quiet at night. Sound does carry through the ceilings, though, so noise from inconsiderate guests above could cost you some sleep.
