Penelope Palace Apart-Hotel

My parents and I have been coming here for nine years in a row, and we don’t plan to stop. The staff are so nice and respectful, and I love everything about the place. This is almost the only restaurant where I don’t keep switching up my order, because all the food is wonderful. They’ve got much better at cooking over the years.

Right across from the beach, this lovely hotel has a great restaurant and super friendly staff who actually seem to love their jobs, unlike most other Bulgarians working in hotels. It’s squeaky clean, and the massage was great. The spa is okay, but try the Luga ☺️

We stayed in the off-season and had a five-star experience, from the rooms and location to the service. The waiters were great, especially Daniel, who was super attentive. He deserves a raise. Thanks for having us.

This felt like a budget stay dressed up as a four-star hotel. The rooms have very few amenities and kitchen utensils, there’s no washing powder for the machine, and you only get one coffee sachet per person for the whole stay, with no refill. There are no beach or pool towels either. Breakfast was mediocre at best, very oily and with little choice. The coffee machine serves instant coffee instead of grinding beans. The massages were good, but the staff were cold and unfriendly, which made the experience feel neither pleasant nor special. Unattended kids run around splashing and making noise in the jacuzzi area, so there’s no real enjoyment of the spa. The internet doesn’t work in the rooms at all. It feels like being back in the 20th century, and nobody cares. Street parking is a disaster. I’d rate it lower if I could.
