Plamena Palace

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were professional and very polite. It’s quiet, close to the beach, and within walking distance of the main streets. We’d definitely come back.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the hotel was clean with helpful, friendly staff. We really enjoyed staying here. The beach is about a five-minute walk away, while the aqua park and amusement park take around 15 minutes on foot. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

We had a great stay at Hotel Plamena Palace in Primorsko, Bulgaria. The helpful, friendly reception staff spoke English, and you could exchange money at the desk until 9 PM. The rate there was the best we found around. Cleanliness stood out throughout the hotel. Our room was cleaned daily, with the floors mopped, towels replaced, and toiletries restocked. After three days, they changed the bedsheets without us asking. The balconies, windows, pool area, and public restrooms near the pool were clean too. I never noticed sand in the bathroom or anywhere else, which is saying something for a seaside hotel. The breakfast was fresh each morning, with lots of sweet and savory choices. There were even pancakes, pastries, ice cream, Nutella and other spreads, and different dressings. The hotel has two pools. We mostly used the larger one at the back, which seemed a little salty and was always clean. Even with the hotel fairly busy, there were plenty of clean sunbeds and umbrellas. The young staff kept an eye on the area, brought drinks from the bar to our table, adjusted umbrellas, and tidied up. The fitness center was free, and pool bar drinks cost about the same as elsewhere. The one letdown was lunch at the hotel restaurant. Meals were very cheap, around €4.50, but the quality was poor, so I wouldn’t eat lunch there. Drinks and the other services were absolutely fine. We were still genuinely satisfied and would return. Eat lunch somewhere else and you’ll have a wonderful stay.

We’ve stayed here for the past six years, and every visit has been great, even better than the one before. The management is impeccable, from arrival through the last day, and you can see the care in every detail. The friendly staff are always smiling, welcoming, and ready to look after you. The restaurant serves high-quality food. Whether you travel alone, with family, or with friends, you’ll have an amazing stay and want to return every year. Surely the best hotel on the Bulgarian seaside!
