The pool was a real treat, and the rooms were spacious and clean. There was everything we could need in the kitchen, including an outdoor grill. The owner came by every day to clean the pool and take care of things. He was a lovely man, and staying here was a real pleasure.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the place is beautiful, extremely quiet, and has a spotless pool, a sitting area, BBQ, and a self-service kitchen. The rooms are nice and have air conditioning, and the bathroom has a jacuzzi-style tub. It was quite stressful with our child, though. The owner told them to be quiet as soon as we came in, then later told them not to splash in the pool. I wouldn't call this a place for kids.

Madara is a lovely place to spend two days in the mountains on the way to the sea. The garden and pool are beautiful, the kitchen has everything you need, and the coffee is good and free. They get a big 10 from me for cleaning every corner, and it's so peaceful here. We recommend seeing the monument to the founding of Bulgaria, Călărețul from Madara with Fortăreața, and all the tourist spots marked on the map!
