The breakfast was decent and good, but there was no coffee. For the conditions, this is extremely expensive and poor value for money. It could work for travelers stopping for one night just to shower and rest, but even then the price is far too high.

It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Shumen, and the prices are average. The rooms are very clean, and it's ideal for tourists who don't speak Bulgarian.

A good choice for Turkish customers: some staff speak Turkish, and you can get halal food. The toilets have bidets too. It's a little far from the center, but manageable.

Thanks to all the hotel staff for their attentiveness and warm, friendly service, especially Hasan Bey. Breakfast was good too. For basic needs, the minibar should have one bottle of water per person, with the other items available for a fee. A hairdryer should also be provided in the bathroom.
