We had a good four-night stay and didn't run into any problems. The food was good, and it came at a healthy time consume. The waitress and everyone else at the hotel seemed nice and cheerful. I was a little disappointed that the pool wasn't open for the first few days and that the whirpool didn't work at all, but I really liked it here.

Dinner was delicious, breakfast very good, and the staff friendly and helpful. I was there on a halfboard basis during a cycling trip with Penguin Travel, and we were allowed to keep our bikes overnight in a small garage. My room was 501, reached by lift from reception, with two single beds and a great view from the bedroom window. The enclosed shower was very good and had plenty of hot water. There's a gym, though I didn't use it and the equipment looked ok. The restaurant is on the ground floor. The hotel is a little outside the town center, but I'd be more than happy to stay there if I visit Smolyen again.

We only stopped in for lunch. The ambience, menu and service were really excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll be back!

The stay was pleasant, thanks. The food could taste a bit better and the pool could be warmer, but otherwise it was a nice stay.
