Great location, and I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed. I was happy here: since it was the last room, I got a big four-bed room for the price of a single, and the rate was very good. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 11 and woke me up. In the end that helped, because otherwise I probably would've slept forever.

Breakfast in the restaurant was good enough, and the staff were generally kind. The room was spacious, but its old wall-to-wall carpet was stained and smelled terribly. We had to keep the windows shut, though I didn't understand why, and that made staying in the room very unpleasant.

There's a gym and spa in the hotel, but I didn't use them, so I can't comment on either. It's in the city centre, not too far from the metro. My room was too hot: I couldn't turn off the radiator, and the air conditioning didn't work. Once the power was on, the room was much too noisy. The staff weren't very polite, didn't greet customers or smile. They could use a course on being happy. That said, most places I visited in the city had the same attitude, so I suppose other hotels might be like that too.

There were bugs crawling in from the terrace, so bring insect spray if you go. And in rm 24, a 6x8 hole around the sewage pipe let in a smell so awful I could hardly breathe. An air freshener would be a good idea. The staff were nice and the location was good. Beyond that, I can't think of anything positive.
