Being able to say we stayed in an art gallery was a real bucket-list moment for us, and we couldn't wait to tell our friends. The Sarieva collection is all around you, in and beyond the room, including in unexpected spots. It features the largest private collection of Bulgarian artists. The apartment has a high-end green fig scent, and the service felt discreet and carefully arranged, with smart tech conveniences handled well. The architecture is award-winning, with thoughtful details, local sourcing, and a focus on sustainability. Though minimalist, the design still feels warm and welcoming. The Women’s Market setting gives the hotel a reason to be here. It’s a lively, raw, multicultural part of Sofia, with some of the city’s best international food. The mountain and city views, plus the outdoor art installations, are especially photo-worthy. A stay that changes your idea of what a hotel can be. 😀 👌

The area has a boho feel, and you can walk to plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. DOT Sophia itself has remarkable architecture, lovely design details, and exemplary service. The experience was so good that a visit to Bulgaria could be justified just for DOT.

I spent three nights here in central Sofia and had an amazing experience. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the architectural design is stunning.
