Nikolay and his mum were incredibly helpful when our plans changed mid-stay. The guest house was very clean and tidy, and all the communication before we arrived was clear and precise. The location worked well for us, an easy walk of less than 15 minutes to the centre and convenient for both the Central Train and Bus Stations. Economy Guest House will be our go-to digs when we travel to or through Sofia again.
It’s inexpensive but has the usual amenities. There’s one bathroom and toilet per floor, and both were clean and tidy with no queue. I had no trouble with the other guests, and was happy with the value for money. The place is quiet and works well for an overnight stay. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from Sofia’s railway and bus stations, with a metro stop nearby. My one comment is that they put one laundry basket out for used bathroom towels so they wouldn’t damage the furniture. Parking is a problem if you have a car, and I don’t know where to go. Without your own transport, though, it’s ideal. I wish the house success and lots of satisfied customers!
