Edi Hotel Sofia

We had to walk in quite heavy rain because there was nowhere to park in front of the hotel. In the apartment, which cost 200€ for the night, the 500ml minibar water was 1.50€. Hot water in the bathroom took ages to arrive, if it came at all. It’s not a bad place, but there’s a lot that could be improved.

The reception staff were the one good part. The room smelled bad and was dirty, and the hot water didn’t work. At 70 euros for a night, it’s worth no more than 30. This is among the worst places I’ve stayed, and I’ve stayed in a lot.

Everything was really good. I left an item behind and called after I noticed. They sent it to me as quickly as they could.

We’ve stayed at this hotel often for years, but that’s going to change. After we left, we called about some belongings we’d forgotten. They said they’d check with the cleaners. For four days we called every day because they never returned our calls as promised, and kept giving excuses about someone or something. On the fourth day, after we called again, they told us the cleaners said the items had been thrown out. I don’t believe that 😂. They said they couldn’t do anything or take responsibility.
