FH3. I had a terrible experience with the property and its host. I should have taken five more minutes to photograph everything. I'll try to be objective, even though I'm pissed. We arrived around 22:30 on Sunday and spent about 15 minutes finding a place to park. The so-called free parking was just somewhere on the street. The property used to be a hair saloon or some other commercial space, and faces the street. With the electric garage-style door rolled up, anyone walking by can look inside. That didn't bother me much, but it's information the host should clearly provide beforehand. The problems started inside. The room and air conditioning smelled of cigarettes. Another guest may have caused it, so I don't blame the host for that. But it's a non-smoking property with no detectors, poor ventilation, and no warning, and it's all one big room with a partial wall, so there was no escaping the smell. The main entrance and kitchen light didn't work. The bedroom light did, but it was a harsh white mall light. I may be picky about that. The socket left of the TV was visibly burned from an electrical shock and had been repaired. I'm an engineer and fix things at home, but I wouldn't leave guests to use something that looks broken and dangerous. The toilet was in a ground-floor commercial space retrofitted for this use. Without extra precautions, the waste system and drainage can smell. If I were alone, maybe I could have put up with it, but I was with my wife. We weren't warned, and from the host's attitude the next day, it seemed they expected my wife to sleep there. About 15 minutes after arriving, I called the nearest hotel with rooms and booked one. We packed up and left. At around 23:50, after settling in, I politely messaged the host on Booking. By 13:00 the next day, there was no response, so I called. The host sounded angry and tried to claim I had never been there and was making it up. They sent someone to check, then assured me I hadn't visited. I gave them information that only someone who'd been there could know, but they still said they couldn't do anything because Booking wouldn't refund me. That wasn't exactly true, but they didn't care. Booking opened a refund ticket, which the property owner denied the following day. I offered to prove where I'd been using my car's GPS. I wasn't trying to scam them, since I'd spent twice as much to book the nearby B1 Hotel and get what had been advertised, but they didn't care. Booking customer service said they'd help, but didn't. They expected me to go back and take photos two days after filing the complaint. It wasn't worth the time or stress. I'm just disappointed. I haven't seen other bad reviews, so I assume it was an unfortunate combination of circumstances. There's no room for part two, but I hope this helps somebody dodge a bullet.

The apartment is spacious, tidy, clean, and seems well cared for. It's on street level in what I assume used to be a shop, and entering through a "garage door" feels a little strange. It has the amenities you need, including air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is typical for bulgaria: the shower isn't separated from the rest of the room, so the floor gets a bit flooded when you use it. That's not a problem unless you have important things in the bathroom while showering. The location is good, and parking is possible nearby.

Getting in and out with our heavy suitcases was easy, and the ground-floor room would also suit elderly guests. Flower home 4 was clean, with the beds already made. We stayed one night last week before an early flight, and the location worked well: about eight minutes by car from the airport and within walking distance of a large mall.

There were no signs or directions, and there was nowhere to park. When I needed to reach the owner, I couldn't get through. I'd stay away.
